WEEKLY REFLECTION

              The second week of teaching practice was good and this week I completed three of my lessons in accordance with the periods allotted. I was able to engage the classes with more confidence when compared to the past week. This week I employed group discussions, general discussions, brainstorming, write around strategies in my classes. I used more examples in conveying the content and this helped the students in understanding the content more easily. The activities provided in the class was very effective. The usage of teaching learning resources like chart, flash cards, activity cards, powerpoint presentation was impressive .I also utilized concept attainment model in one class and this was competent enough. All the students participated actively. My strengths were that I had good content knowledge and my sound modulation was good with adequate pausing and stressing. I need to make more improvements in my postures and blackboard work. Other than that my classes were interesting and I was able to achieve the objectives. One of my class was observed by my optional teacher. Good comments and some suggestions were provided by him.I observed my peers (Devi, Sanshia, Lisy)classes.I provided some suggestions to make improvement in the teaching style. I hope that I could improve all my flaws in the coming classes and do my best in the next week.

            Overall experience during the past week was good.
