WEEKLY REFLECTION

The third week of teaching practice was good and this week I completed three of my lessons. I was able to engage the classes with more confidence. All the lessons were completed by making use of different strategies such as group discussion , brainstorming, general discussions etc. Last week I made use of chart, activity cards, puzzle game and chalk boards in supplementing my lessons. When compared to my previous classes, this week I upgraded my teaching styles with regard to my postures and movements as per the advice of my optional teacher. Before starting each days class I ensured that my students were acquainted with the previous knowledge. I think, at times I lost control over the classes especially while carrying out the group activities, therefore I need to progress with the concerned teaching skill.
Last week one of my class was observed by my general teacher.Good comments and some suggestions were provided by the teacher. I also observed two classes of my peers(Devi and Lisy ).
My overall class experience in the past week was very good as I was able to achieve all of the objectives stated.
